is a pioneer attempt of organization to bring mass awareness about environment and its conservation. The very different image of this contest is to directly involve the students in environmental protection activities. It is compulsory for every student to plant at least one plantlets and protect it for three months. The attractive title and awards of the contest motivate maximum students to participate in it and involve in environmental protection. It also develops keen interest among students to collect maximum possible information about environment and related topics.
The contest aims to achieve the following objectives.
1- This contest aims to aware the school students about environment and its conservation.
2-It also creates keen interest among students in environmental protection activities & also cultivates plantation drive among them.
3- This contest also target to develop competitive attitude among students.
4- The main objective of contest is to develop an eco-friendly environment and eco-friendly thinking among students, teachers & guardians.
Total time duration from enrolment of student to final event & award distribution is about six months which starts from June to December.

There shall be three categories of contestant.
1: 9 to 12 year (from class 3rd to 5th)
2: 13 to 15 year (from class 6th to 8th)
3. 16 to 20 year (from class 9th to 12th)
There shall be five titles for students & one title for school which are as follows
1:Best Eco-Friend Kid-2008
2:Mr. and Miss Eco-Friend Junior-2008
3: Mr. and Miss Eco-Friend Senior-2008.
4: Best Eco-Friend School-2008.
Eco-Friend Contest is a big event by its nature and coverage area, because this will cover 60000 students of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Since, uniqueness of this event makes it special and smooth to conduct, because the message we try to spread through this event is essential need of today. Many big programme, seminars and campaign are being conducted by various govt. and other agencies and obviously they are very much succeed to make people aware about environmental consciousness, but still there are many people remain who are not actively playing their role to make our environment safe and clean.
